I have found over the years that people hate it when I do not open my fortune cookie at all. It infuriates them, not everyone, but many people. That's not why I don't open Fortune Cookies, though, and haven't for decades. I don't open them because I try not to spend my attention on bullshit. I spend attention on you because I love the way you write about stuff that matters.
