I suppose some people were conned, as you claim. It would be foolish to deny it. But it is also foolish to think all Trump supporters have been manipulated by Trump and his forces -- many of them were manipulated by The American Dream, a much bigger con than Trump. They believed in it, they worked hard and they got screwed by the smart guys who ended up with most of the wealth in this country. That was the real con and it created millions of angry voters happy to support anyone who doesn't tell them how to talk and how to think.
