Social VR Index

Social VR Platforms . . . . . . People . . . . . . Companies . . . . . . Society
Social VR is not the Metaverse. It is a component of the Metaverse. I think Social VR should be the central component and that supporting human needs for self-expression and social connection should be a primary design focus of Social VR and all the other components.
Remarks
Select “Social VR Platforms,” (top) for thumbnail descriptions and all articles about each platform.
Ownership information is up-to-date with the possible exception of Wander, whose ownership status is unclear
Market designations refer to the platform being primarily individual Consumer-oriented, B2B focused, or some. Let me know if you think I have any wrong.
The Quest column indicates Quest compatibility, Y/N. SQ refers to Sidequest, an app for running apps on the Quest through a computer.
Another important factor is the number of people that can be in a World at the same time, but there are not single answers, so # of People will be the focus of the next Social VR Index chart.
I would like to have Revenue and Employee columns but the information is hard to find for the platforms, as opposed to their owners.
Social VR Index is part of Platforms for People, Briefs on Social VR in the Metaverse.
