X-Meditators vs CIA, part 6
Dream Wars
Ben Bentov was very concerned about what he called the Spontaneous Kundalini Effect. McDonnell’s Report quotes him as warning that:
“The cumulative effect of these vibrations may be able to trigger a spontaneous physio-Kundalini sequence in susceptible people who have a particularly sensitive nervous system.”
Most of the time people get access to more than they can handle, they are assessed and labelled by DSM criteria and it usually turns out they are broken and need to be fixed.
But a little Spontaneous Kundalini under Military care and comfort might go a long way toward developing an Astral SWOT Team. Maybe once a beachhead is established, others can be drawn in more readily, so that a Forward Base could be in place, could have been in place for decades.
It’s hard to put your finger on the mechanism of action between the Physical and Astral Worlds. Interfering with individuals in dream states has been made into stories for us already in every form of popular media.
One-on-one, there is usually a Force-Factor involved — one’s astral magic is stronger than the other person’s astral telekinesis. These match-ups are consistent, with uncertainties and random factors sometimes involved.
It will be interesting to see what Force factor is in the Dream scenarios now being investigated at scale by advertisers, who are explicitly laying out a routine to help consumers (not humans, consumers) maximize “Dream Incubation.”
Sofia Moutinho describes the practice in Science Journal, June 21, 2021:
Dream incubation, in which people use images, sounds, or other sensory cues to shape their nighttime visions
The practice has a long history. We are thought to be more vulnerable, less critical, when we are dreaming. More suggestible.
Coor’s approach to Dream Incubation at a mass level links their brand to feeling better. In that sense the motives of a company selling mental adjustment partially overlap CIA’s motives. Both need anxiety and dissatisfaction as a precondition for their products or services.
Ben was a healer and wanted to heal everybody.
He helped individuals and he wanted to help Clinicians learn to recognize Spontaneous Kundalini Effect. That’s why he wrote the book, which is really a Handbook for what you might call biopsychospiritual development. That’s how McDonnell saw it.
Ben died with everyone else on American Airlines Flight 191 on the afternoon of May 25, 1979. Including people on the on the ground, the total of 273 fatalities is still the largest in US aviation history.
An engine dropped out of the plane just after take-off from O’Hare Airport in Chicago and it was out of control almost immediately, still very near the airport and highly built-up and developed property. There was one small wooded area in the immediate vicinity, which is where the plane came down.
It was the only open space anywhere nearby and things could have been much worse. A few hundred yards away was a trailer park full of people.
There was a ritual event, a saying goodbye, that night at the Interface space on Chapel Street in Newton, MA, where Ben had presented his theories on many occasions.
We shared stories. His presence was everywhere. People who were closer to him than I was shared stories from the night before. Stories about Ben digging up important possessions in the back yard and explaining them to his wife. Knowing he would die the next day.
Taking the flight anyway so he could be present to guide the plane to that small, empty landing place, saving hundreds more in the trailer park.
That was the story I heard that night.
Ben’s ideas have been trending throughout 2021 on social media.
Maybe the 2003 declassification McDonnell’s Report was a message in a bottle to the rest of us. If so, it stayed mostly under glass until sometime in early 2021 when it became a Hit! overnight on TikTok.
The Daily Mail (UK) covered it as a phenomenon on February 17, 2021 and #Gateway Process is still doing well. Many people have now made videos explaining the Bentov Holographic model and also sharing their own experiences. The ones I have seen posted are uniformly positive.
Some of the people who make these videos that bring Ben’s model back to life are selling something, although it is not always clear what. But some are not promoting anything other than their own self-knowledge. The Gateway Process changes some of the people who use it seriously.
Their videos have produced a self-sustaining dynamic that received another jolt of energy with the recent published speculation by respected astrophysicists that the universe might be in the shape of a torus, which was immediately linked to Ben’s ideas in some of McConnell’s Commentary.
The shape of everything is not a casual consideration, as it bears on the finitude of the/our universe. Current thought, reflected in the Standard Cosmological Model, is that the universe is infinite. However, wouldn’t you know it, there are discrepancies in the data. The Cosmic Background Radiation is not what it should be in some places if we are immersed in a flat infinity. This is a well-known and agreed upon anomaly.
According to the new paper, a torus shape fits the Cosmic Background Radiation data perfectly and suggests that our universe is a very big donut. Technically, this topology is referred to as ‘multiply-connected.’ It means that there are no boundaries, like the boundary at the edge of Truman’s World, even though the volume is finite.
This finding, still in peer review, is crucially important for many aspects of classical and quantum physics. It is also crucially important for Ben’s explanation of the Gateway Process.
Holonomic Brain Theory is most associated with the model developed by Karl Pribham and David Bohm. The Universe-as-Hologram is what humans have always (my guess) known in an intuitive way to be true. The Christian mystic Meister Eckhart wrote these words 700 years ago:
“God is creating the entire universe, fully and totally, in this present now. Everything God created . . . God creates now all at once.”
The Theoretical Physicist Jacob Bekenstein summarized the state of acceptable thinking in a now-famous 2007 Scientific American article, where he acknowledged that we are all standing on nothing, but that’s ok because we’re just information too. Actually, he said we should:
“regard the physical world as made of information, with energy and matter as incidentals”
When he asked if we really can, ‘see a world in a grain of sand’ — he helped legitimize the Holonomic Universe as a path to explore.
Ben links the two, universe and brain.
Ben on Universe:
The universe is composed of interacting fields, some at rest and some in motion. It is, in and of itself, one gigantic hologram of unbelievable complexity.
Ben on Brain:
The human mind is itself a holograms which attunes itself to the universal hologram by the medium of energy exchange thereby deducing meaning and achieving the state we call consciousness.
Ben’s answer to Lieutenant Colonel McDonnell’s question:
With respect to states of expanded or altered consciousness such as Gateway uses, the process operates in the following way.
As energy passes through various aspects of the universal hologram and is perceived by the electrostatic fields of the mind, it is perceived or understood to the extent that the electrostatic field is operating at a frequency and amplitude that can harmonize with and therefore “read” the energy carrier wave pattern passing through it.
Changes in the amplitude and frequency of the human mind determine the configuration and hence the character of the holographic energy matrix that the mind projects to intercept meaning directly from the holographic transmissions of the universe.
Are we there yet?
Russell Targ isn’t.
He’s banned on TED. Says he and his partner proved that paranormal abilities exist and no one wants to hear it.
Harold Puthoff is still a researcher/consultant with high-level clients.
He has recently moved into the Space space, joining Tom DeLonge and others in the To The Stars Academy project.
The military is still leading the way, as usual, with a new Space Force branch of the armed services and in the implementation of new technologies to augment combat effectiveness.
Under the banner of Cognitive Warfare, enhanced capabilities are recognized by distinctly non-New Age entities like NATO, as expressed in a May, 2021, NATO Review article:
In cognitive warfare, the human mind becomes the battlefield. The aim is to change not only what people think, but how they think and act. Waged successfully, it shapes and influences individual and group beliefs and behaviours to favour an aggressor’s tactical or strategic objectives.
It is well-known that both mainstream and social media unspool battlefield reports endlessly into anyone tuned to those channels.
That’s a lot. I still wonder if there is more.
Taking anxiety to bed with us from mediated sources is assumed to influence dream content or tone. Since there is not widespread agreement about the essential nature or functions of dreams, it is difficult to do anything beyond purely imagining a mechanism of action — about how astral entities could keep the anxiety loops going.
Some reports claim only 1% of the military personnel who undertook the Gateway Process were able to manage their new skills in a functional, repeatable way. I don’t know how much a small number of Astral Soldiers could do.
Maybe 1% is all that’s needed. That’s what the Maharishi says.
Dream Wars, part 7, the last part, for now
